What You’ll Do:
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations using diagnostic muscle, nerve, joint, and functional ability assessments.
Develop individualized treatment plans with clear goals and recommended interventions.
Modify plans of care in collaboration with physicians as patient needs evolve.
Deliver therapeutic interventions aimed at maximizing functional independence and quality of life.
Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, goals, and safe use of medical equipment (e.g., canes, walkers, wheelchairs).
Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in patient records.
Participate in interdisciplinary case conferences, staff meetings, and continuing education.
Follow safety protocols and maintain therapy equipment.
What You Bring:
Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
Valid New York State Physical Therapy license.
Minimum one year of clinical experience as a licensed Physical Therapist.
Strong communication, clinical judgment, and patient-centered care skills.
