Parkinson’s Disease creates unique needs that are best treated by specialized professionals. Our multidisciplinary team is among only a few home care agencies to receive advanced training by the National Parkinson Foundation (NPF). HCR staff leads the way with exercise programs and caregiver support groups in alliance with the local affiliate of the NPF and regional support groups.
HCR closely monitors the patient’s health to identify problems/changes before they lead to complications by:
- Monitoring medication regimens for maximum effectiveness.
- Monitoring vital signs to assure appropriate response to activity.
- Providing innovative ideas and technology to improve daily living skills.
- Offering connections to community resources and emotional support.
To help you effectively manage this complex and often misunderstood condition, a customized program will be created to meet your unique needs. Our goal is to maximize independence, while providing your primary caregiver the support and resources they need.
"[HCR's] Hispanic Team Coordinators have been wonderful and very caring; however, there is one that has stood out. Mark Cuevas is an exceptional employee. There are so many qualities about him that are outstanding. His communication skills are excellent. He is prompt, courteous, and patient. My calls are always answered without delay and he makes sure to touch base with us to assure that the family is comfortable with the coordinating schedules…I am so impressed with Mark’s extraordinary professionalism and sensitivity.
