Home Health Aides (HHA) can assist with your personal care needs and ease the burden on your caregiver. HCR Home Health Aides are certified by the New York State Department of Health to provide “hands-on” personal care.
Whether you are recovering from a surgical procedure or just need additional assistance with daily living activities, HCR professionals can provide the care and support you or your loved one needs. Please note, insurance limitations may apply to home health aide services.
Under the direction of our skilled nurses and therapists, our home health aides can assist with activities of daily living, such as:
Bathing and Hygiene
Personal hygiene and bathing are important though delicate issues for anyone. When requiring assistance with these activities, we all look for someone we can trust and rely on to help us keep up our standards of healthy personal hygiene. Whether you need assistance because of limitations after surgery, a recent injury, or because you just can’t move the way you used to, HCR is here to help.
Our home health aides can help you stay clean and healthy by providing assistance with your personal care, bathing/showering, grooming, and other personal hygiene.
Meal Planning & Preparation
HCR home health aides and companions are trained to assist with meal planning and preparation. Our dietitians, nurses, and therapists will work with your doctor to incorporate any dietary restrictions or requirements into your meal plans.
Home health aides and companions are also available to assist with grocery shopping and kitchen clean up. We offer you the peace of mind that your loved one is eating well and consistently, living in a clean environment, and free from any safety hazards involved with meal preparation.
Laundry and Light Housekeeping
Keeping your home environment clean and free of clutter is important to your well being. If limitations after a surgery, a recent injury, or physical limitations because of age or disability prevent you from being able to keep your home clean, let us help.
HCR’s home health aides and companions can assist with your laundry, light housekeeping, grocery, and household supply shopping needs. Under most insurance, these activities may be added to the plan of care, but may not be the sole function. These services as a stand-alon can be paid for privately, however.
"It would be very remiss of me to not write and thank you from the bottom of my heart for the excellent care your nurses bestowed. They were absolutely wonderful in every sense of the word. Their cheerful smiles (must be a job requirement!), caring ways, and expertise helped to make a painful experience more bearable…Thank you again for all you did this summer, and for all you continue to do for others each and every day of the year. You truly do make a difference. We know because we were on the receiving end."~ Linda B.
